Solid Fuels
We stock a wide range of quality solid fuels, from traditional housecoal, in various sizes, to smokeless fuels for stoves and room heaters.
Our coal can be delivered in either 50kg open sacks or in 25kg pre-packed bags.
Unlike some merchants all our fuels are screened before weighing and loading to remove excess dust. Fuels we have in stock include:
For Open Fires
Premium Housecoal Trebles
Large in size, long flame, low in ash and ideal for open fires.
Premium Housecoal Doubles
Small in size, long flame, low in ash and ideal for open fires.
Economy Housecoal Doubles
Small in size, long flame, higher ash content and less heat than the High Quality Housecoal Doubles, for open fires.
Ovoids
Premium quality large manufactured briquette. Can be used on open fires and with wood on multi-fuel stoves. Long lasting, easily controllable, high heat output.
Logs
Seasoned and bagged ready for collection or delivery.
For Enclosed Appliances and Multi-fuel stoves
Welsh Anthracite Stovenuts
For multi-fuel stoves and Rayburns etc. Deep mined premium quality anthracite. Long lasting, low ash, low flame. Suitable for burning in a smoke controlled area.
Welsh Anthracite Beans
For gravity feed appliances.
Ovoids
Premium quality large manufactured briquette. Can be used on open fires and stoves. Long lasting, easily controllable, high heat source.
Phurnacite
High performance smokeless fuel for enclosed appliances. Suitable for burning in a smoke controlled area.
Coke Blend
For use in room heaters and multi-fuel appliances. Suitable for burning in a smoke controlled area.

Seasoned and bagged ready for collection or delivery.
Kindling Sticks
Please note that the minimum order for delivery is for 250kg and that there is an additional cost for leaving the coal in the bags.
Collections from our yard are in convenient 25kg pre-packed bags.
Discounts are offered for bulk purchases of 1,000kg or more.
