We have traded as a family firm of approved coal merchants in Sedbergh since 1895. The business, originally formed by William Dawson, still remains in the Dawson family and has now passed through five generations.

We always try to ensure that we only supply high quality fuels of varying types, suitable for our customers needs.

Unlike some merchants, our coal is screened twice to ensure it is as clean as possible.

We are proud that we can offer a very reliable delivery service and try to ensure that all deliveries are made within 5 working days of the order being received.
